Margherita Pizza and Porkloin Steak

Taste = 3/5

–          I expected a lot from Club Punta Fuego’s restaurant. Maybe I shouldn’t have raised my expectations too high. Lyn said the pizza tasted good but not as good as the price they were asking for. The Porkloin Steak was too dry. I always believed that it was the chef’s or owner’s responsibility to make sure the staff has tasted their food and so they could make the right recommendations. Since it was my first time there, I didn’t know the taste of the porkloin and when I chose the blue cheese dressing, it was a disaster. Imagine chewing tough pork then add aged and pungent cheese sauce. I had to ask for steak sauce.

Service = 3.5/5

–          The food took too long to serve. They probably prioritized their buffet over those that chose a la carte.

Ambience = 4/5

–          The interiors were very accommodating and the place was very bright and welcoming. The seats were comfortable and it was a nice place to eat after swimming at night.

Value for money = 3.5/5

–          Sadly, as much as I wanted to give a higher rating for value because of the nice interiors, I could still remember the toughness of the pork even after a month.
