Whenever we see an Elait brach, we buy something. During this visit, we tried their Chocolate Overload described as having: chocolate shards, brownies, Pocky sticks, chocolate vermicelli and chocolate drizzle on a custard-based rolled ice cream (the cookie was not on the description).
It was delicious! Somehow, it was not as sweet as we expected it to be (probably because the ice cream is not that sweet), which might be good with some customers but we tend to prefer a very sweet dessert if it is named “Chocolate Overload”
They have excellent service. Everyone had a beautiful smile and the people behind the counter were extremely helpful to all their customers. They prepared the rolled ice cream completely visible to the customers and this added to the happy experience in Elait.
Elait calls their workers “Deaf Partners” and, along with various posters with illustrations on basic sign language, it was really an inclusive environment. Happy vibes all around.
This branch shared its space with Overdoughs (a cookie shop) and the space got crowded in a short amount of time.
Inside, it felt like your typical ice cream store but the place was very clean during our visit (which is a big plus for an ice cream store).
The Value for Money
A solo serving was P140 while a regular serving was P200. The size we bought was a solo serving and it had a lot of toppings.
Their pricing is very reasonable since the dessert itself is good plus, the customers will be able to help out our PWDs.
Pro Tip: Buy something here every time you have some space in your stomach for dessert. Have fun while also helping out.#happyfoodtrippers
