The Taste
4/5
The pork sisig was good while the adobo tasted more like asado than adobo. The mango salad and sinigang na bangus (milkfish in sour guava soup) were just ok. The gising-gising was the best tasting dish among them! Crunchy sigarilyas (winged bean) with creamy and flavorful coconut sauce…magic.
The Service
3/5
We were able to reach the restaurant at around closing time so maybe the servers’ minds were already on their way home. But one of them was attentive enough to refill the water without even being asked, which is very good.
The Place
3/5
The entire dining area is semi-alfresco (if this is even a word). There are no doors but almost all the tables are within their space. Noticeably, the spacing between the tables is tight. The atmosphere looks Pinoy but for some reason, it does not feel homey.
The Value for Money
3/5
Prices of the dishes: pork sisig = P220 and sinigang na bangus sa bayabas = P365. Sorry we lost our copies of the prices of the other dishes but according to their Facebook site, adobo = P250, mangga salad = P130, gising-gising = P140. Well, the prices are steep considering everything. [The serving size of the mangga salad was too small]
Pro Tip: It is preferable not to eat here around closing time as some dishes may not be available anymore.
